And that’s a wrap on this adventure. I am nothing but grateful for this experience - for the opportunity to bake, to meet new people who I consider friends, to be a part of a community, to be able to walk away with pride. I got five hugs yesterday, one very sweet thank you card and one last chance to talk about these little baked things I put so much time and effort and love into over the last six and a half years. It was a tremendous send off. Thank you everyone who ever bought a cookie and had a kind thing to say - this has meant more than anyone will ever know. Being The Cookie Dude gave me hope when I needed it, gave me something to talk about when I needed it and in the end gave me perspective when I needed it. The Dude Abides.

I built a business on never saying no - not if I could help it. So it’s been a little freeing and a little confusing saying no so often this fall because it is legitimately hard to make these things happen with my new job. We don’t have long left at the shop and I felt like I had to help make this son’s birthday special. Sometimes the universe speaks to you. And for the record it wasn’t about the offer to pay someone for delivery, we’ve always had free delivery and this one is no exception.

Clean regularly, make sure it’s hooked up to a water line with a filter and you’re ready to get individual cups of coffee. Perfect for a bake shop, an office or anywhere people want a caffeine fix.
