Sometimes life has a funny way of bringing you right back to where you started. ❤️

9 years ago, this was Harper and Josh, ready to head to the Woods N Water show! 🦌

Living in Imlay City. Kids little. Life looking completely different than it does today. And every year, Woods N Water was one of those things we looked forward to every year! Loading up the kids and heading to the show, making memories without ever realizing just how precious those ordinary days would become.

I look at this picture of Josh and our baby girl and I can’t help but wonder what I would have thought if you had told me then what life would look like 9 years later.

I never would have believed you!

Woods N Water has been woven into our family’s story in so many little ways. My dad even bought my son his very first crossbow at this show. 🥹🦌 A purchase that was so exciting back then, and now is one of those memories that makes me smile when I think about how much our kids have grown.

I had no idea that we would eventually uproot our lives, leave Imlay City, build our dream home, and move “up north.”

I had no idea that somewhere along the way, a little dream in my heart would turn into Woodmere Pines. 🌲

And I definitely had no idea that one day I’d be coming back to the very same Woods N Water show we attended for years…

Not as a visitor.
Not as a spectator.
But as a small business owner.

Standing behind a booth filled with things I made with my own two hands. Products created with ingredients I believe in. Things I’m proud to put in the hands of your families because I truly believe in bringing simpler, more natural products to YOU and yours!

There’s something pretty emotional about that for me.

Because sometimes we’re so busy living our lives that we don’t realize we’re in the middle of a story we’ll one day look back on and think, “Wow… look how far we’ve come.”

That little girl in this picture had no idea where life was going to take her.

And neither did we!

But here we are. ❤️

9 years later, I’m coming back to Woods N Water — with Woodmere Pines in tow. 🌲

And this time, I get to make some new memories with my own family, while hopefully becoming a small part of yours. 💕

It’s goat milk soap day! 🐐

I’m due for a big restock on one of your favorites! Today I’m pouring our classic Goat Milk & Honey scented goat & tallow soap! 🍯

What is cold process soap? 🧼

Cold process soap is made from scratch by carefully combining oils and butters with lye. Through a natural process called saponification, those ingredients transform into real soap! Our goat milk adds a rich, creamy touch, while tallow helps create a hard, long-lasting bar with a luxurious lather.

There’s something so satisfying about watching a fresh batch come together and then patiently waiting for it to cure! 🤍

No magic reset happened overnight.
The bills are still there. The work and animals are still waiting for feeding. The goals still feel big. The fear might still be sitting right beside you.

Do it anyway.

Show up tired.
Show up nervous.
Show up scared.
Show up when nobody is clapping for you yet.

Because one day, all those little things you did when you wanted to quit will add up to the life you once prayed for.

New week. Same dream. More determination.

⭐️ I’m entering a crazy busy season with Woodmere Pines, and if I’m being completely honest… I’m excited, but I’m also nervous as hell! 🌲

The next month or so is packed with some of the biggest events I’ve ever done, and there is SO much that goes into getting ready for them.

Right now, it’s not just making a few products and throwing them on a table. It’s figuring out what I need to make, how much inventory to bring, ordering ingredients and supplies, labeling, packaging, pricing, planning the booth setup, loading and unloading, paying vendor fees and booth rentals… all while hoping I’m making enough of the right things.

And that last part? Terrifies me a little. Ok, A LOT!

These events are a big investment for a small business like mine. I’ve already paid booth fees and vendor rents, and now I’m at the point where it’s time to put my head down, work my butt off, get everything ready… and pray people show up and like what I’ve made. 🙏

We’ll be there every Saturday except September 12 & 26th while we’re at Woods N Water & Elk fest!

✨ 9/6 — Thunder Over the Water | Waters, MI

🌲 9/11–9/13 — Woods N Water | Imlay City, MI

🦌 9/24–9/26 — Elk Fest

So basically… there are no breaks in sight. 😂🙈

The next few weeks are going to be crazy busy, stressful, exciting, and honestly a little scary. I’m nervous. I’m hoping I’m making enough inventory. I’m hoping I’ve picked the right products. I’m hoping these big events are worth the investment.

But I’m also incredibly grateful that Woodmere Pines has grown enough for me to even have these opportunities.
