During October, we are highlighting different vintages of the same varietals - some as verticals (same vineyard), others as pairs (different vineyards).

This week: 2020 and 2021 Montepulciano (true vertical). Sourced from Buoy Vineyard, this varietal is the pizza companion you didn’t know you needed.

The 2020 vintage was cooler while the 2021 was hot! (And this varietal loved the heat). Save $3 off per bottle of “Monte” all week.

You may have heard about w**emakers co-fermenting Viognier with Syrah. But - have you ever heard of Riesling co-fermented with Merlot?

Small lots require creativity and leaps of faith. Good thing we are willing to do things a little different round here…

W**e and whatnot: if Pinot Grigio is a white w**e grape with dark purple skins, which white grape instead has very distinct variegated skin hues of copper and dusty rose?

Hint #1: you may find it either sweet or dry
Hint #2: It is native to Germany, but is not Riesling
Hint #3: Girls are meaner (IYKYK 😂)
