Follow along as we highlight Idaho wine and the Lewis-Clark Valley specifically.

Each week, we have selected two Lewis-Clark Valley wines to highlight and are offering complimentary samples of both wines and $2 off each bottle.

Featured wines for June 1-7:

2024 Gwen’s Arrow Chardonnay - harvested from Arrow Junction a couple of months immediately after the disaster of the Gwen Fire.

Ragtown red blend - a lighter bodied, light-hearted blend sourced from vineyards in the Lewiston Orchards, Arrow Junction and Clarkston. Ragtown was a term that had been used to describe the temporary city of tents that comprised Lewiston in the late 1800’s.

Looking forward to summer salads with vinaigrette dressing? Our Pivot white blend makes a delightful pairing.

The 2022 Pivot is an unoaked blend of Pinot Grigio, Muscat, Chardonnay and Viognier. The 2023 contains these four varietals as well as Gewurztraminer.

It is lean and fresh while having a bit more texture and lingering finish. Feel free to bring your salad with you to try a tasting for research purposes 🤭.

Riesling is known for being hardy, but even we are amazed it survived 2024 when these Arrow Junction grapes withstood both exceptional cold in January and the Gwen Fire in July.

The result? A beautiful symbol of resilience. Its delicate mouthfeel and floral perfume are in stark contrast to the ice and fire events that shaped it.

It is a reminder that even through pain, there is beauty. We hope you will come experience it with us.

Reason #9,416,542 and 46 degrees north why we love being part of Idaho wine:

Our winery is apparently so remote in north central Idaho that a maps app once told our guest to “Get out and walk.”

But - you can easily find our Newberry Square tasting room in downtown Lewiston. A patron was across the street when they asked maps to find “a winery near me”. It took them right to us.

Please come find us at the tasting room. Getting to the winery may turn out to be more of an adventure than any of us signed up for.

May's wine of the month: 2020 Merlot

Merlot is a variety that tends to like milder temperatures and can quickly drop its acidity during prolonged scorching summer days. With a limited number of Lewis-Clark Valley triple-digit days in 2020, this vintage turned out to be a beautiful one for Merlot.

A small amount of Malbec is blended in to add color and spice. As a result, it has a sleek body with inviting notes of red berries, dark plum, baking spice and hints of chocolate.

Vineyard: Arnett Vineyard in Clarkston, WA
Cases Produced: 49 cases.
