As Black History Month comes to an end -Today, we shine the spotlight on the incredible Roxie Heart (born Tiffany Alexandria), Maine’s very first mainstream Black Pop Artist! 🎤✨ Her musical journey began in 2019 with her first album The Muse, then in 2023 she released her second studio album The Muse 2 & managed to seal a distribution deal with Empire and 1200 Entertainment with her heartfelt yet fun single “You Don’t Love Me Back,” produced by Maine’s super producer and engineer John Zebley at Anchor Studios in Lewiston. Since then, she has been spreading her talent and vibrant energy everywhere she goes, truly repping for Maine!
Roxie’s journey began in Lewiston, where she attended Lewiston Middle and High School and graduated with honors from Franklin Alternative/Edward Little High School, all while giving birth to her first son in her junior year! 💪🏽 After graduation, she juggled various roles, from waitress at Lewiston House of Pizza to cosmetologist and designer of multiple brands that inspire her peers to keep their standards high.
Roxie later became the House Mom at the female-owned Diamond’s Gentlemens Club in Bangor, showcasing her versatility & strength in everything she takes on. With her rich background, including Native American, British, and Caribbean descent, Roxie has shown immense perseverance and personality, making her mark as a pioneer in Maine’s music industry.
