๐ข๐ขA MESSAGE FROM CHILI BLUES๐ข๐ข
We feel it is important to make something very clear: Chili Blues is a family-built business.
We were not sponsored, handed a business, or given what we have. We started from the ground up. From selling plates at Hells Gate, taking online orders with personal deliveries, privately catering families, working long days and nights, and eventually building our way into having our own food truck.
Every bit of support we have received along the way has been voluntarily given, and we are incredibly grateful for it. We are not contracted or obligated to any individual, organization, or entity.
When Chili Blues chooses to collaborate with other businesses, organizations, events, or community efforts, it is because we believe in the vision, support the mission, and feel we can positively contribute. We have always tried to use our business to bring good food, opportunities, support, and positivity to the LC Valley.
With that being said, our business decisions are our business and we decide what we share about our personal lives.
Chili Blues does not go out of its way to create drama, hardship, or problems for anyone. We show up, handle our responsibilities, serve our customers, support our community, and stand on business professionally.
We are also human beings.
With recent personal circumstances involving one of our members becoming public, this has been an extremely difficult time for our family. We understand that people may have opinions, questions, or curiosity, but our personal lives are not community entertainment. We respectfully ask that people allow our family the space to handle personal matters privately rather than contributing to rumors, assumptions, or unnecessary negativity.
Regardless of what we may be facing behind closed doors, we still have a business to run and a family depending on us. We still have customers expecting us to show up. We still have catering commitments to fulfill. We still have a community that has supported us and deserves the very best service we can provide.
Before judging Chili Blues based on someone else's narrative, please also consider the years of hard work, community involvement, collaborations, donations, events, meals served, and positive contributions our family owned and operated buisness has made.
You don't have to understand every decision we make. You don't have to agree with everything happening in our personal lives. But we do ask that you respect our boundaries and mind the business that belongs to you while allowing us to handle ours.
We will continue doing what we have always done:
Taking care of our family.
Taking care of our customers.
Supporting our community.
Serving good food.
And continuing to build what WE created from the ground up.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support Chili Blues for what Chili Blues actually represents. We see you, we appreciate you, and we don't take that support for granted.
Chili Blues ๐ถ๏ธ๐
Family built. Community supported.
Still standing on business.
Slide through. We got you.
