This video caps off a great couple of weeks. We have sold a few horses these past two weeks but the most exciting news came from one of our four year olds, AM Metallic Tequila, who we call Spidey placing 3rd in the Open Futurity Heading at the Kiplinger Challenge in McCook, Nebraska. A big thanks to Reed Boos for doing a great job with him.

Peps Gold Tequila, aka “Petrona,” is a big, soggy palomino mare that has been outstanding in the AM Quarter Horses breeding program. She has produced five foals, and every one has earned a spot in the keeper pen. She has done her job exceptionally well, and now it’s time for another program to benefit from what she brings to the table.

Petrona is by DUAL PEPPY, a full brother to the legendary DUAL PEP. Mares bred like this are becoming increasingly hard to find. She adds a ton of size to her offspring and has produced three palominos when crossed on their son of METALLIC CAT.

Petrona is confirmed in foal to METALLIC WORD 16 and is expecting a May 2027 foal. The resulting foal will be eligible for life in the Royal Crown Roping Futurity and can be paid into the Iowa Ranch Horse Futurity.
