When we started AM Quarter Horses, our goal wasn’t to just raise great horses for ourselves but to get them in the hands of people that would go on and enjoy them as well. We were thrilled to get a message from Wayne Knutson that he has won money in Arizona on this six year old red roan gelding out of Rocky that he calls Radar. Congratulations and keep it up.

Yesterday was an exciting day for us at AM Quarter Horses. Although it didn’t turn out the way we wanted, a four year old out of Rocky, AM Metallic Tequila (Spidey) competed in the Royal Crown Intermediate Heading in Buckeye, Arizona. It was a cool experience to watch one of Rocky’s foals compete on such a big stage. A big thanks to Reed Boos @ Boosie Performance Horses for giving us a chance and trusting our horses.
All of Rocky’s foals are eligible to compete in the Royal Crown roping events. His 2027 foals will be eligible for life. Contact us if you’re interested in a breeding contract and we will get you set up.

We have some exciting news!!! Rocky is now an enrolled stallion in the Royal Crown Roping Futurity. His 2027 offspring will be eligible for life so get ahold of us if you are interested in a 2026 breeding contract. The future is looking bright for Rocky and his offspring!!!

Here is lot 586 at the Boone County Draft Horse and Mule Sale on Friday September 12, 2025 in Sedalia, MO. Mulan is a 2 year old filly sired by World Champion head horse CT Show Me Your Guns. This filly is about as calm and quiet as you can get. She is very willing and easy to get along with. She would be a very nice ranch/rope horse prospect or an awesome trail horse. Take a look.

AM SHOW ME THE DASH is lot 22 in the St Clair Performance Horses production sale at the Flying L Indoor Arena in Keosauqua, IA on Saturday September 13. Dash is a handsome 4 year old gelding that has the size and ability to be a top end rope horse. He is paid up in the Riata Buckle and has a solid start in the heading. He is great on the trails and crosses water with ease. There isn’t much that bothers him inside or outside of the arena. We are excited to be offering such a nice young gelding with his whole life ahead of him. Someone is going to get a good one.
