When we have to work on the weekend's it takes the whole crew 😆

I went in for a clog, came out with sunglasses. Final verdict: don't accessorize your plumbing

This morning, my son cleared out the floor drain at the bottom of our basement stairs. He was shocked when I told him what a client would pay for that job. It's a good reminder that honest work, even the stuff that seems small, keeps homes safe and running. There's dignity in it, and a real path to earning a living doing something useful and real.

Rain was coming down today, but the water line wasn't gonna fix itself. So we popped up a beach umbrella and got it done. Rain or shine, we show up for our clients!

Every once in a while, you get a little reminder that all the hard work is paying off.

Tonight I decided to ask ChatGPT something I’ve honestly never searched before:

“Who is the best plumber in Lewisville?”

I wasn’t expecting anything out of it; I was just curious.

To my surprise, Lewisville Plumbing Pros came up at the top of the results. 🥹

That honestly meant a lot.

We don’t spend a lot of money on advertising. Most of our work has come from word of mouth, repeat customers, and people recommending us to their friends, family, and neighbors.

So seeing our name show up there was a pretty awesome reminder of what can happen when you simply try to do things the right way.

Show up. Do honest work. Charge a fair price. Treat people’s homes like they’re your own. And stand behind what you do.

To every customer who has trusted us, called us back, referred someone to us, left a review, or simply told a friend about us — thank you.

We’re a small local plumbing company, and we’re incredibly grateful for the community that has allowed us to grow.

Still just a plumber trying to keep the water flowing. 🔧💧

Thank you, Lewisville!

🚰 A Quick Water Line Check Could Save You Money

Over the past week, I’ve had several calls for water leaks between the street meter and the home. With the hot, dry weather we’ve been experiencing, the ground can dry out and shift, which may put stress on underground water lines.
One thing I’ve noticed is that some of these leaks are not creating the usual soft spots or visible water above ground. In dry soil, leaking water can soak straight down or travel underground, making the leak difficult to locate.
I recommend taking a minute today to check your water meter:
💧 Make sure all the water in your home is turned off.
💧 Check your meter to see if it is still registering water usage.
💧 If the meter is moving when everything is off, you may have a hidden leak.
A small leak can turn into a big water bill or a much larger repair. One of our customers experienced a $1300 bill.
If you suspect a leak, give Lewisville Plumbing Pros a call. We can help determine whether the problem is inside the home or somewhere along the underground service line.

🚨 Water Main Break – Winston-Salem Area 🚨

If you're affected by the water outage, here are a few important tips:

- Turn OFF power to electric water heaters or set gas water heaters to Pilot/OFF if the tank may run dry.
- Avoid running faucets until water service is restored.
- Once water is back, flush your cold water lines by running faucets for several minutes until the water runs clear.
- Follow the City's boil water advisory before using tap water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or making ice until the advisory is lifted.
- After flushing the cold water lines, run hot water to help flush your water heater and hot water piping.

Stay safe, and follow updates from the City of Winston-Salem for the latest information.
