Sivak Produce

Sivak Produce A local, family owned and operated farm that has been in the area for over 100 years. That is the day Sivak Family Farms was born.

Around 1914, two brothers moved from Pennsylvania to Southern Maryland and began a farm. Our farm has been home to many different types of agriculture, from livestock, to tobacco, to produce. Since its incarnation, Sivak Family Farms has doubled in size from 150 acres to approximately 300. Johnny Sivak began Sivak Produce as we know it today. After retiring from the Lexington Park Post Office, Joh

nny began selling produce at a road side stand on Route 235 south of Hermanville Road. His son Alan Sivak continues the tradition to this day. In addition to the original stand, Sivak Produce can now be found at the Home Grown Farmers Market located just south of Pax River NAS Gate 3 on Route 235.
