Another frost is due tonight and going down to freezing tomorrow night so we've had to cover the strawberries again this season.

Finally have some proper sand bags to hold everything down, no more bags of bedding :-)

Strawberry flowers, beautiful flowers!!!

The small field of strawberries started to flower this past week, we are expecting to have fresh delicious organic strawberries for sale in about 3 week.

Strawberry beds have both been covered in anticipation of this evenings frost,
LOL... we got nice new row covers to go over everything but forgot to get sand to fill the sand bags so we have had to use horse bedding bags to keep everything down :-)

We expect to have berries starting to come in and available for sale within the next 30 to 45 days!!!!

Spring is trying its hardest to make it out to the farm, our tree is starting to bloom and the new baby chickens are starting to grow up, they have most of their feathers and will he heading out to live in the pastures in a week or 2 to join the rest of our flock.

Be sure to stop by S-Curve Farm and grab some Yummy, Organic Chicken or Duck eggs for only $6.00 per dozen.

We’re happy to announce that the village of Lexington will now have a farmers market - beginning in May! 🥳

Our farmers market will feature fresh & seasonal produce, honey, plants, baked goods, artisan crafted items, & more! We intend to keep this market as close to a true farmers market as possible - a producer only, direct-to-consumer event, where local farmers, growers, and makers sell products they grew, raised, or produced themselves.
