After heavy picking volume last week and surveying the field today, I’ve decided to close picking for the 2026 season. There were a lot less berries this year due to the late freezes and the drought has also taken a toll on berry quality.

Last minute update for blueberry picking this weekend:
Due to heavy picking the last 2 days and limited water for irrigation we will be open on Saturday 8/1/26 from 7AM-12Noon and closed on Sunday 8/2/26.
Will evaluate field conditions on Monday and post an update then.

The late berries (Powder Blues) will be peaking this week. The midseason varieties are diminishing rapidly. We will continue to maintain the current picking schedule with evening hours on selected days.
Closed on Mondays,
Open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00AM-12Noon
Open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 4:00PM-7:00PM
Open Friday 7:00AM-12Noon
Open Saturdays and Sundays 7:00AM-3:00PM

Now that multiple varieties are ripening, we’ll try to adopt the following weekly schedule for the next several weeks: Please note, we now have evening picking hours on selected days:
Closed on Mondays,
Open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00AM-12Noon
Open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 4:00PM-7:00PM
Open Friday 7:00AM-12Noon
Open Saturdays and Sundays 7:00AM-3:00PM

Schedule subject to change as field picking conditions vary due to weather, etc.

Blueberry Hill at Still House will open for the season on Saturday and Sunday (7/4-5/26) from 7:00 AM until 12 Noon.
A few things to note:
We’re opening 1 hour earlier this weekend and closing earlier because of the heat.
The heat and drought are starting to impact berry quality.
We’ll see how the picking goes this weekend and try to normalize a weekly schedule as the later varieties start to ripen.

Greetings from Blueberry Hill,
I’m currently targeting somewhere around the first week of July as opening day for 2026 picking season. Will continue to monitor and give more frequent updates as we get closer to opening day.

We did have some freeze damage to our early varieties, however the mid and late season varieties seem to be bountiful.
