Meet Oso! He is a 1-year-old Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever mix with the best smile!

Our volunteers have said, "Oso is a cuddle bear! He sat down and pressed his body against my legs and looked up at me. He loved getting his head and neck brushed and rubbed, and he just stared up into my eyes and kept pressing as close as he could. This is a dog who wants to be loved and cuddled. Also, despite being so large, he is easy and gentle to handle. And he has a lot of patience. He was in the grooming room getting washed, conditioned, dematted, dried, and brushed for about 1 and a half hours, and he cooperated the entire time. He will be a wonderful, cuddly pet for someone!"

This year's Doggie Paddle event will be held on Saturday, August 19th at Southland Pool. We can't wait!!!

Choose between 3 time slot options (9am -11am, 11:15am - 1:15pm, and 1:30pm - 3:30pm) for your pup to enjoy the best summer day ever. Every dog will receive a free bandana thanks to Raising Cane's, and we'll have green T-shirts and beach towels available for purchase with the Doggie Paggle logo thanks to our T-shirt sponsor, PetSuites Hamburg, and our beach towel sponsor, MetLife Pet Insurance!

Registration includes admission to Vendor Village where there will be pet-related businesses, exclusive LHS merch, and more. Our friends from Richmond Road Veterinary Clinic and Tates Creek Animal Hospital will be the onsite vet!
