Lexington Vegan Week results are in!
is a weeklong celebration of plant-based culinary excellence in Lexington, KY. Since taking over the week in 2022, has grown the total reach on Facebook to 562.5% and 105.1% on Instagram. Content interactions have also increased 3 and 4 fold since 2022. Followers have increased an average of 52.07% across Facebook and Instagram.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to work with such incredible restaurants and small businesses. Their efforts to create an inclusive and diverse menu showcases the creativity and passion that defines Lexington’s culinary spirit. Every participating restaurant sourced at least one ingredient from a local Black farmer in network, creating a delicious model for a stronger, more equitable local economy and food system.
This year, we were able to continue leveraging our marketing expertise and media contacts to amplify coverage, hire a professional photographer , support chef-driven community events, and increase accessibility through promoting delivery options all at no cost to the participants. Additionally, we launched a QR code promotion for a Lexington Vegan Week prize basket. We received over 114 entries and almost everyone included a photo to increase their odds of winning. This is a 928.57% increase compared to last year's prize entries.
