Had to drag this little calf in the shop this morning, found it out in the rain not able to get up. Must have been born sometime early this morning, wasn't born when I went to bed last night. If you have ever wondered what the life of a farm kid is like here are some pictures of how Ally spent the day after Christmas, nursing a calf instead of playing with the toys she got yesterday for Christmas. I am so proud of this little girl she stuck with us all day caring for this calf and didn't really want to come in tonight. Kind of makes me think of the old Paul Harvey FFA speech... On the 8th day God looked down on his planned paradise and said I need a care taker... So God Made A Farmer

Ally is excited her pumpkins won first place at the county fair this year. Needless to say mommy and daddy are beyond proud. These kids are the future of agriculture and we are happy to teach them the love and gratification of farming
