It’s Soup Day!

​I have some great new products launching this week, starting today with our instant soup & bouillon powders:
🐔 Chicken Bouillon
🥩 Beef Bouillon
🧅 Onion Soup Mix
🥣 Chowda Powda

​Perfect as a soothing broth or a flavorful seasoning boost for your favorite dishes (just 1–2 tbsp per cup!).

​Pictured: ½ tbsp dissolved in ½ cup of boiling water. Check out those real herbs and veggies coming back to life! (Bonus: I’m seasoning my pork roast with the onion mix tonight!)

Market season is wrapping up, but my digital homestead stand is just getting started! I will be attending MANY events so look for my posts!

Starting in November, I am launching local pickup, delivery, and shipping options. The online ordering window will run from Sunday at 8:00 AM to Thursday at 5:00 PM, with all your custom orders prepped fresh for weekend fulfillment.

You can still catch me in person at these upcoming fall events:
• Noble Farm Market: This Saturday, October 10th (8 AM to 1 PM) at the Southwest corner of the green pavilion. LAST CHANCE!!!
• Noble Chamber of Commerce Fall Festival: Saturday, October 17th (10 AM to 5 PM)
• Slaughterville Farmers Market Halloween Festival: Saturday, October 24th (Time TBD)

Also note that Coles Plant Farm/Coles Plant Farm will have a FULL restock THIS WEEKEND! So if you miss the market, I will have items on the shelf there for purchase!

So this happened.

Jeanna: I'm downsizing, do you want a few quail?
Me: Of course!
Jeanna: Okay, there's about 20 or so.
Me: Cool, omw.

Ummmmm. Jeannas "20 or so" count appears to be calculated using the exact same measuring tape as "man inches." That is not 20 quail! This is an absolute parkour divebomb situation of feathers, wings, and chaotic little bodies ricocheting off every available surface including my head!

Oh, and there's a baby!!! A proper headcount is impossible. I will have to sort and count them later, but hey, eggs!! Lol.

Idk why I do this to myself. My life is an ongoing hostage situation negotiated entirely in bird feed. But dang, they are cute. Thanks, Jeanna!

Let's play a game.
Not counting the tiny baby, how many quail do you see in the coop? Also, please ignore the turkey in the background who is thinking... "Again??" Lol. I am 100% convinced these birds just camp out on their roost with popcorn just to see what kind of unhinged animal math I'm going to drag home next.

I decided to donate a few items to the Noble Chamber of Commerce fundraiser, but knowing a few of my lil things wouldn't be enough, I reached out to some amazing friends.

Y’ALL!!!! Look what happened!! We put together the cutest little fall basket packed with tons of goodies! (Bonus: I also tried decoupage for the very first time ever!).

So, if you are heading to the fundraiser and go to the silent auction tomorrow, keep an eye out for our "Fall" in Love with Noble basket and bid your hearts out!!!

October 10th is the last Noble Farm Market of the season, so I will be transitioning fully to online orders soon. Moving forward, I'll be offering pickup, delivery, and shipping (some fees may apply)!

Swansonian Homestead update. A friend of mine asked if I wanted a goose. Not knowing if it was male or female I took my chances. Guess what y'all....

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

Tig got to meet her today and they are separated for now but please meet Venus 2.0! She is sweet but she has some beak damage and needs to stay in quarantine for a bit. Then I'll probably introduce her to Tig after a while or put him with her to let them bond and then they will get some outside time. But yay!!!! Tig has a new potential friend! Here's their first meeting. Through the walls of course.
