SUNDAY NIGHT UPDATE! And of course a little giveaway to keep the week exciting 😊

WOW what a weekend! You guys are just so awesome, getting to say hello and meet so many of you was really great. And the reviews! I promise you I read every single one of them through Instagram, Facebook, Google, and Kimberlene Oconnor had to hear every one 😂.

So we completely sold out every single night. I felt awful that so many phone calls had to be told we sold out by 2pm today. I'm going to add 20 more pizzas to each of the days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) due to the high demand and see where it goes. I am so close to extending to Thursday, I am just waiting for a few key items to help me lock down the efficiency.

A new pizza will be announced next Sunday, and I'm excited for this one! It's the "Motown *********" and with a few more tests it will be ready to go! 😉

We will be changing Sunday to 11-5, I think if makes alot more sense for sports crowd and seemed to drop off after 5.

Online ordering system has been working fantastic and really locks in those timeframes so well.

We will have special hours Halloween, 11-5 and be CLOSED Sunday November 1st. Why? Because we are taking the kids to Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Studios! If you have never been, it's such an awesome time as a Halloween / horror movie buff.

Walk ins are always welcome, but online ordering is absolutely the way to go, secures a time frame and let's me set everything up to make everything as perfect as possible. If I can get a walk in quick, I'm all over it, but sometimes there are 20 pizzas ahead! Really looking forward to this weekend and dropping some news Sunday evening. Stay tuned!

SUNDAY EVENING UPDATE + A LITTLE FUN!

It's like the Bat Signal, but ya know, for Detroit Pizza 😎 If you see the light on, then the ovens on too!

Awesome weekend, so much awesome feedback, this Friday went better than last Friday but still trying to nail down some efficiency details. So same hours this week, just going to get better and better. With our 4th weekend coming up, there just might be a little reveal coming, we will see! 😉

I have always absolutely loved pizza. I could never have enough. If you went back 3 years ago and told me I would be making pizza, I would never have believed you. I only started cooking a year ago so I could be more helpful in the home with Mrs. O'Connor working so hard at The Yummy Cakery. I really found a passion in something I never knew I had and here we are.

So here we go! Reply with something you learned later in life you were good at or had a passion for, tag a friend, and we will do 2 FREE PIZZAS next weekend, winners announced Friday @ 3pm! I look forward to reading what you guys found! Thank you and have a wicked awesome week!

SATURDAY MORNING UPDATE!

The sun might not be shining but the cupcakes and pizza sure are!
Last night went much better than previous Friday, but still far from perfect. Working hard at learning every efficient maneuver, because it kills me when people are waiting longer than they should. I promise I will get better and better every single week! I feel so much pride and gratefulness when I read these reviews, seriously.

The online ordering system works super well at the efficiency. If you want to put in notes an earlier time, I will try my best to do so, but no guarantees! Thank you everyone and have a wicked awesome Saturday!

So I said we are doing a free pizza giveaway, and if we hit 1000 followers, we would throw in a second one. As of this post, we are at 988! I was told several times I'm too nice during my FTO phase of policing, and I'm OK with that 😊. ALSO, tomorrow marks the two year anniversary of my family moving down to SC, so we are all celebrating with that extra pizza! Without further ado!

SUNDAY NIGHT UPDATE + A LITTLE SOMETHING EXTRA!

Sunday went fastastic. Orders flowed and no one had to wait, which I loved. I always try to line up the pizzas with so you are getting the freshest, best tasting pizza possible, because that's what you deserve.

Extending Sunday to 6pm next week as a trial! If it's busy from 5-6, it will be permanent!

I had a couple from Detroit, MI come back in for more pizza because it "reminded them so much of home", and that is so rad (yes, I'm showing my age 😂)!

So I was going to do a giveaway once I hit 803 followers since that's a special number here... But you guys went right past it! So comment a food that always reminds you of home, tag someone, and we will do a FREE pizza giveaway next weekend, drawing at 8pm Thursday night!
