Ricci e Capricci -
Capricci - means “ whims” or “fancies”

Ricci means “curly” or refers to sea urchins “Ricci Di mare”

This is a uniquely shaped Coral like artisan pasta.
A few Pasta makers simply called this “capricci “

Pasta panarese named their specific cut Ricci e capricci.

Often known to have whimsical shapes. It is often served with seafood and in Italy, quite popular with sea urchin.
