Teens in the Kitchen Teens in the Kitchen is a hands on cooking class for teens designed to teach them how our food choices affect the environment and our health.

Each 2 hour class involves cooking a tasty meal, and open discussion while learning basic cooking skills.

Gluten Free Desserts.
Have you recently discovered that you have an intolerance to gluten or
wheat? Do you just want to try and experiment with wheat free cooking?
Come to my Gluten Free desserts class and we'll try making these
desserts, Ginger custard, Banana bread, and Brownies.

Materials fee of $10.00 payable to instructor.

Food Choices and Global Warming
How do your food choices affect Global warming? Why should you choose
organic? What difference does it make to the planet if I choose an
apple from New Zealand or Massachusetts? What does food waste have to
do with global warming? Join our discussion and learn the answers to
these questions.

Teens in the Kitchen is starting a new session on Tuesday October 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th. Another session on Wednesday October 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th. Classes go from 3:00 to 5:00pm and cost $130. Some of the foods we will cook include fritatta, pasta with fresh tomato basil sauce, bean soup, cornbread, polenta pizza, etc.
