Howlin' Wolf Farm

Howlin' Wolf Farm A small, locally owned and operated vegetable and fruit farm nestled next to Town Branch, just outside of Lexington, KY.

Howlin' Wolf began as the brainchild of Ryan Whittington and Ian Gerard, as a restaurant that could serve food that we grew ourselves. The goal became clear: Start a farm and engage the people around us, sowing seeds that can grow into lasting relationships and healthy, well fed community. We began this farm with one simple goal in mind: to provide fresh, high-quality food to anyone and everyone.

We seek to promote social justice by providing healthy food, all season long, at an affordable price. Our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program allows us to produce food for the community by sharing the costs of growing, harvesting and delivering through farm shares. We offer a variety of share options, as well as discounts for volunteer workers, payment plans, and 'scholarships' via donations from community members. Look for us at regional farmers' markets as well, as these venues give us the opportunity to sell deirectly to consumers with less marketing costs and packaging.
