This year has kicked my ass. I can't and I wont relive everything in this caption but my life is completely different than it was in January.
I am grateful for where I am now, but mourning the chapter of my life that is now closed. My goals have shifted, perspectives changed.
Looking forward to the crisp mornings and lambs that are soon to come 🧡

Taking things slow with this girl. We let our puppies be puppies for the majority of their first year, with the occasional look at stock. We are just starting a little more structure as she’s nearing 9 months.

Meet Willow!
Willow is our newest hire, today is her first day on the farm. I am over the moon with her personality so far, she’s been much more social and adaptable than I expect from any puppy during such a big change - let alone a LGD. Thank you so much to her breeder, 🫶🏻

Yesterday Indie had her ultrasound, and unfortunate we did not see any babies this time. We will try again on her next cycle, which is expected in October.

If you talked to me 3 months ago, I said I wasn’t going to keep any of the Storm x June pups. 2 months ago, I thought all the girls had placements. Somewhere along the lines, I decided to keep one and one of the female placements opened up. Completely unrelated, but seemingly fate.
It was clear to me which one of the females I liked the most, the bright little tri with the spicy personality. Little mouse had wiggled her way into my heart. The more the puppies matured, the more I liked her confidence and adaptability.
