Meet Willow!
Willow is our newest hire, today is her first day on the farm. I am over the moon with her personality so far, she’s been much more social and adaptable than I expect from any puppy during such a big change - let alone a LGD. Thank you so much to her breeder, 🫶🏻

Yesterday Indie had her ultrasound, and unfortunate we did not see any babies this time. We will try again on her next cycle, which is expected in October.

If you talked to me 3 months ago, I said I wasn’t going to keep any of the Storm x June pups. 2 months ago, I thought all the girls had placements. Somewhere along the lines, I decided to keep one and one of the female placements opened up. Completely unrelated, but seemingly fate.
It was clear to me which one of the females I liked the most, the bright little tri with the spicy personality. Little mouse had wiggled her way into my heart. The more the puppies matured, the more I liked her confidence and adaptability.

Without further ado, let me introduce you all to Fae! I am hopeful we will accomplish great things together 🩷

Indie was bred to Moel Sweep last Saturday!
Crossing my fingers there are lots of little embryos floating around, we will know for sure in about 3 more weeks 🥹🤞🏻

The Shades of Grey litter turns 4 weeks old tomorrow!
This is my favorite time with puppies, personalities are shining through. The potty training journey is well on its way. They’re all pooping in the litter box, we occasionally have some p*e outside of the box. Teeth are coming in, and they’re loving their puppy mash. They’re officially small dogs 🥹

The puppies are 16 days old today 🩶
A bit of a milestone, it is the last day of ENS/ESI. There is not a single doubt this litter will be confident little things. They’re very active, they’ve been toddling around for nearly a week already!
Pearl is the feistiest of the bunch, grumbling and throwing a fit through ENS. Shark and Smoke aren’t far behind. Fox is a good middle ground, she has some opinions occasionally. Mouse and Pebble are the least vocal, least opinionated of the bunch.
Another interesting thing to note is their tri points coming through.
Shark and Pearl don’t show any tri at all so far, while Pebble and Smoke only show a few hairs under their tails.
This litter has been so interesting so far, in so many ways. I look forward to the coming weeks!

The puppies are 1 week old!
These guys have been more vocal, and more active than our past litters. This litter almost unanimously finds ESI a positive thing, no matter the scent. They’ve found their motor skills quick. It’s been interesting documenting the differences in their cognitive function so young.

1. Smoke, male
2. Pebble, male
3. Fox, female
4. Mouse, female
5. Pearl, female
6. Shark, male

If it’s not obvious, the litter theme is a joke. June and Storm were bred because they, and their pedigrees, complement each other. They have the potential to produce some stellar dogs together. If anything, their dilute color was a disadvantage when considering the cross. If you have a problem with their color, kindly wait to talk s**t when they hit the trial field 😘
