Ridgewood Bee Company

The beekeeping season is coming to a rapid end. Today I equalized colonies and left some extra honey out for them to rob. The drought this year has been very hard on the bees in this yard, but I have no doubt that the majority will make it through the winter.

We are officially SOLD OUT of honey. I greatly appreciate everyone’s support this year and look forward to the honey harvest next year. If you’d like to be contacted when I have honey next year, please fill out the Google Form. Thank you again!

Please fill out this form if you like for me to reach out when I have honey available. Most likely it will be some time in late May or early June but it depends on the weather. I will not share your information with anyone.

They say with a swarm in July, you should let it fly. But what do they say about a swarm in September? Is it something to remember? Let’s find out.

First, I want thank to everyone who has supported us by purchasing any honey or lip balm. It truly is appreciated. This year we had our biggest harvest today and next year is looking like it is going to be even bigger.

That being said, we are almost completely sold out of honey. Of the 390(ish) pounds harvested we only have 40 pounds left so if you are wanting any honey TIME IS RUNNING OUT. It is only available via porch pick up or meet up (if it is convenient to both of us).

What does our pricing look like?
HONEY
$12 for 1 pound
$10 each for 2 or more pounds.

LIP BALMS
$3 each or 4 for $10

Flavors are:
Peppermint
Vanilla
Orange
Lavender with Lemon

How to order?
Comment in this post saying what you’d like to purchase and I’ll message you. It is first come first serve so I’ll be responding in comment order.

Earliest I’ve ever had to harvest. This year’s honey crop is thicker than normal and I think that’s thanks to the drought. No rain=less humidity=less moisture content in the honey.
