The Southeast Summer Championship Open Gaited Horse Show is only 3 weeks away! The show is pointed as an A show for the Rocky Mountain Horses and as a Local show for the Paso Finos. There are also open classes for any gaited horse to enter. We offer trophies, rose award sashes, and many other prizes. The Southeast Summer Championship is only 2 months away!! This is a new show at Great Smoky Mtn Expo Center in White Pine, TN, just off I-81, on August 20-21. There will be a separate show each day with different judges. The show offers classes for any and all gaited horses, ponies, or mules. Classes for Rocky Mountain Horses and Paso Fino horses are sanctioned and pointed. Hawkeye is a 12 year old gelding, Palomino Tennessee Walker rescue. He came to us with no training and very little handling. He is now under saddle with a little experience on a trail and with basic obstacles. Good around other horses, dogs, and chickens. He has days where he is relaxed and confident but some days where he can be nervous. Hawkeye has a great smooth gait, very friendly, and learns quickly.
**His sensitivity and inexperience would make him more suitable for an experienced rider or a trainer looking for a personal horse. He would be best for someone that can work with him regularly on the ground and riding.**
