Hobby farming is becoming more popular especially with alpacas, why? They are easy to care for, you don't need a lot of space, they are easy on fences, and the fleece can produce many yards of yarn for those who enjoy knitting, felting, weaving etc. Anyone interested in becoming alpaca owners, there are various options available, including purchase, payment plans, boarding and maintenance or an agistment arrangement,
Currently Palomino Alpaca Farm has several maidens available for free breeding to a Palomino herd-sire of your choice. Alpaca farming is one of the most rewarding and pleasurable farming in-devours we have found that can also provide certain tax advantages for the purchase of new assets, (such as a maiden female). Not to mention the enjoyment of training and handling young animals all part of being an alpaca owner, and getting involved in the alpaca show system. See you at the Carolina Alpaca Breeders and Owners show next month!
