I’d prefer to live in a world where folks are willing to sacrifice everything rather feel deserving of something.
Knowledge should incur a sense of debt, (and responsibility) not a sense of entitlement.
Ignorance is expensive.
Consider what it is that you do not know as you make decisions- be skeptical and considerate, but with an equal amount of curiosity and willingness to learn.
Be generous in every aspect of your interactions with others. Intellectually, materially, emotionally.
Grow things.
Give.

Time to prune and propagate!

Now is the time tomorrow prune the new growth in your canes. You want to cut back the main bud- about 4-6” - or to the next stem that has an elbow with a new bud starting. By cutting back the ends of new canes - you’re encouraging them to bush out more- to grow more fruiting stems for next season- and the potential for increased harvest!
This is also the time to move or expand your brambles. Thinning and then replanting new canes can help you to control how your patch expands over time, making it easier to control and shape - which helps a lot when it comes time to harvest and navigate all those thorns!!
