Our last day of JR Farmers Camp- Fun Friday was a blast! We turned Frosty into a unicorn and Mini Me into a cowboy. We loved all of the water play, tie dying, pizza and ice cream too!

Jr Farmers Camp- Thursday- Equine Day
These kiddos loved learning about everything horse! We groomed, bathed, learned to lead and rode. We read 3 awesome horse books and learned about different horse jobs and equine sports. We watched the 2026 NFR back number ceremony and watched clips of different events we could participate in with horses. We painted our dream horses and finished our fingerprint pet vases from the day before. We also picked wild flowers and ate hay bales (rice crispy treats) and protein tubs (brownies) for snack. Everyone loved trying on the champion buckle in World Finals jacket.

Jr Farmers Camp- Wednesday- Rescue Pets Day
Everyone got to meet the many different rescues that live on the farm. We learned about their different rescue stories and some of the special things that they’ve done with their lives since they’ve come to the farm. We learned about pet therapy, how to care for different pets and how much love pets give to us! We had watermelon for snack and then enjoyed sharing some of it with some of our favorite livestock on the farm. Everyone made a pet rock and a habitat in art and they loved playing Doggie Doggie Where is Your Bone!

Tuesday Jr Farmers Camp- Livestock Day!
We learned all about the different livestock that live on the farm. We talked about dairy goats, cattle, sheep and their purpose on a farm. Everyone learned to hand card wool from our sheep and fiber from our llama. We also learned about prey and predators and why we use livestock guard dogs. We read Llama Llama and the Bully Goat, painted picture frames and decorated ice cream cone cupcakes for snack. Ms Chelsea did a presentation on her family’s dairy farm in Upstate NY. Everyone loved seeing the trophies, photos and learning about her family farm. Everyone enjoyed feeding all of the livestock! We ended our day flying a kite in one of the pastures.

We had the best week ever with our Jr Farmers!
Monday was poultry and plants day. We learned all about the different birds on the farm. We compared and identified different types of feathers, learned about the different parts of an egg, and the differences between a chicken and a duck. Our book of the day was Rosie‘s Walk. We began our day with a tour of the entire farm. We learned about how hay is produced and got to watch some of it being baled. We made flower pots and planted sunflower seeds. We also checked the mushroom logs and learned about how to propagate a plant. Everyone took home their own little fig tree.

We had the best week at our Horse Lovers Camp! What a sweet group of children! We enjoyed learning to care for the horses, grooming, bathing, leading and lead line riding.

One week only this summer! Join us for JR Farmers Camp. Space is limited!

JR Farmers-
Grab your boots and get ready to get dirty! This camp is designed for children in grades K5 to 6th that are interested in learning what it’s like to live and work on a farm! Our Junior Farmers Camp offers hands on experience working with and caring for our awesome rescues and other farm animals. Campers will walk away with a new perspective on farm life and understand how rewarding caring for farm animals truly is, but most important of all, they will have FUN!
Topics of each day will include:
~Chickens Ducks Turkeys
~Horses and Donkeys
~Goats Sheep Alpacas Llamas
~Cats and Puppies
~Gardening and Bunnies
Your child will also enjoy a craft, cooking activity and science experiments each day related to each animal topic. Please bring a bag lunch and water bottle. A farm fresh healthy snack will be provided daily.

$350 per week($50 non refundable deposit is required to hold your spot)***

Snacks, ice cream and popsicles will be served at all camps. Please bring a lunch and water bottle. Pizza lunch will be served on the last day/Friday of each camp week. We will have all new arts & crafts, cooking, science and STEM, games and of course animal encounters daily. Each week will involve different activities. Join us for one week or all three.

Space is limited to ensure personal attention and small group learning. Due to a very busy farm schedule this summer, we are only able to offer three weeks of camp this year.
Ages kindergarten to 6th grade and early childhood JR Farmers for ages 4 and 5.

Registration is open for our annual St Patty’s Day Scavenger Hunt around the farm!

Join us at the farm on March 25 from 12:00 to 5:30 for a super fun filled St Patty’s Day Camp☘️☘️☘️
We will read How to Catch a Leprechaun and then venture out on the farm on a hunt to find a leprechaun and a pot of gold. Other activities will include arts and crafts, cooking our snack, STEM, science experiments, time with farm animals and riding some of our favorite magical unicorns at the farm.

Calling all Cowboys & Cowgirls! Join us this summer for Horse Camp!

Horse camp will just focus on horses- basic riding lessons, horse handling, safety, grooming and care, equine science and a horse related craft each day. Along with daily horse related arts & crafts, we will have science and STEM and group games.
