Former B.B. King Band Members Celebrate Music Legend’s 100th Birthday at Good Place Farms
In honor of what would have been the 100th birthday of blues icon B.B. King, former members of his legendary band have spent the past 10 days at Good Place Farms Bed & Breakfast in Rockbridge County as part of a statewide music tour hosted by The Virginia Opry celebrating the King of the Blues.
Among the esteemed guests were Tony "TC" Coleman, B.B. King's drummer for over 30 years, and Russell Jackson, legendary bassist and longtime member of the band. The two shared glowing praise for their experience at Good Place Farms.
“We’ve been all over the world and been hosted by presidents, queens, in numerous countries — and never felt more at home than we did this past 10 days,” said Coleman and Jackson during their stay.
With its recent role in hosting world-class musicians and regional leaders alike, Good Place Farms continues to establish itself as a premier destination for events that matter.
