Join us on May 2, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. Instead of a workshop this month, we are planning to gather and chat! Bring your favorite books or tools or homestead hacks and share what you’ve learned. Is there a podcast you never miss, or a magazine you love, or a conference that changed your life? Let’s share a meal and share ideas this month!

We’ll meet at the Kerrs Creek Farm Stand at 12:00. Come early and check out the market, or join us for lunch. Bring a chair or a blanket. We won’t meet if it’s raining, but otherwise we’ll see you there!

In case you don't get the paper: Rockbridge County Extension is hosting a tree fruit selection and establishment seminar led by local orchardist, George Persinger. The event will be 2 sessions:

Wednesday April 8 at 6pm at Timber Ridge Presbyterian Church and includes a light supper. RSVP is REQUIRED (see link in comments below) $25 per person

There will be a follow-up session at the Persinger Orchard in Rockbridge Baths on Friday April 10 at 2 pm.

Last Sunday's Cold Process Soap workshop produced some beautiful bars! Everyone brought their own creativity to the table- different textures, botanicals, and scents- and the results turned out fantastic.
