Well we are pretty excited !! We have partnered with TK Family Farms in Rutherfordton, NC (Western NC) to bring you their apples. TK Family Farms and Crossings started about the same time and we met them at one of the Ag. Conferences that went to early on and have watched them carefully grow ever since. Finally a few weeks ago I reached out to them to inquire about carrying their apples. We knew that one day we wanted Apples (b/c they are so yummy and nutritious!) and for some reason, it had to be them ! So, after a nervous phone call and chat we set on this journey to bring their apples to Crossings and (when appropriate) Lexington Farmers Market ! Foy B. (dad) and Judy took the first trip up there yesterday for our initial pick up. They had a blast, but were tuckered out from tooling around the mountains. Sooo- we have APPLES in the farm store this morning. What varieties this week? Gala, Summerset & Crimson Crisp. We also have Lutheridge Milk, our Eggs, fresh Bagels, allllll our meats, Siano Cheese . . . Come on out today to partake in the North Carolina goodness. We are open form 7:30 this morning until 8:30 tonight. You can also catch us at the Lexington Farmers Market tomorrow- if I can find the energy I might sample something special.

We heard that it was national dog day and honestly, we just couldn't let it pass without acknowledging the dogs that have been part of Crossings! Most still here (Max, Oscar, Tucker & Arie) and a few that helped create us who we are today that are no longer with us( Higgins and Sara). You have our hearts!! ❤️

It is CRAZY how long grocery store foods will last on your shelf at home- Fresh bread is NOT meant to last 10 months or more, so what is wrong with this picture? Alot !! Consider purchasing truly FRESH local foods, especially your baked goods from the growing list of bakers in your area.
