Good morning !! Please remember that there is NOT a Lexington Farmers Market NC - Depot District this morning, but our Farm Store is OPEN and we have so much goodness from all the farmers and food makers from the Market. Ready to bake whole chickens, fresh- back in stock in the Farm Store!!! We make it super easy. Just take out of the plastic bag and empty all contents into a baking dish, set your oven to the noted temperature and time on the label and cover with tinfoil. We find removing the tinfoil about 5 to 10 minutes before you're done with your baking time as a wonderful finish to your whole chicken!! Check it out today. Farm store is open until 830 tonight.❤️

It might be rainy and nasty outside, but stop by the farm store where it is warm and lovely. Grab a ready to bake whole chicken or a roast and bag of apples (maybe some Vanilla Ice cream ) to make the most perfect apple crisp (or just some honey apples) for a warm and cozy dinner. While you're here grab Rabble and Rise's Hot Chocolate and maybe a bit of milk and Eggs for breakfast . We are open until 8:30 tonight- so head on over !!!

We have something new to offer at the farm this week and you are sure to love it !! Fresh, whole chickens that are pre-seasoned with locally raised, dried herbs, garlic & olive oil. It is ready for you to put into your favorite baking dish (after you take out of the bag of course), cover with tin foil, and bake at the instructions provided (per our 1970's Betty Crocker Cook Book of course). This helps you create wholesome, nutritious meals for your family with minimal fuss and mess !! Hope you love it !! We also have Lutheridge Milk, our wonderful Eggs, Pasta is back in stock & today is delivery day for Bagels !!! Come on out from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm- Cash, Check & Venmo only. Thank you!!!

We are excited to welcome Dartmoore Pony CF Midnight in Stirling ( aka Stirling) to the farm- our first foal on the farm in over 40 years! We might occasionally bring him up closer to the shop as he gets older. When we do, we will be sure to let you know!!

Well- I guess Fall is here - and we will take it !!! With cooler weather we are thinking Roasted Chicken, Roast, One Dish Hamburger meals, Soups, Crock Pot meals . . . What ever you are thinking we have you covered. We would love to see you out at the farm store today- and if you are coming and have egg cartons laying around we would SOOOO appreciate you bringing some as we are out and our next shipment is delayed. Open until 8:30 tonight !!

It's our mission to work with you to make healthy food easy to prepare for your family. This is actually an old video that Salem, who was at that time nine years old, helped me make. When you're cooking with fresh ingredients even the simplest meal taste amazing. These apples and Brats only contain our bratwurst, apples, butter, onions, and a little salt and pepper to taste. We put it on a bed of tidewater grain rice, and it was amazing. Come check it out tomorrow!

This time of year we have to check on each other because there are just not enough hours in the day - the mornings start earlier and we are out later in the evening. But we are thankful and blessed to be able to continue the work!
