We have some of your our newer items and your favorites back in stock. The Celebrity Dairy Farm Gelato is back in stock with Mango (yum!) and their Fior di Latte (reminds me of vanilla). Their Tykk Skyr (like yogurt) and regular Skyr (is back as well) so grab yours today before they are gone. Rabble & Rise's Pimento Cheese, Green Goddess and Compounded Butters are in the cooler AND we have goodies from Sweet Em's. We have a limited number of our Chicken Breasts, but we have all our other cuts, Eggs and Lutheridge Dairy Raw Milk in full supply. Lots of other wonderful goodness from our farm and other local supplies. Open from 7:30 this morning until 8:30 pm. Thank you !!

Before your day gets too busy. We just want to remind you that the farm store is open until 830 tonight. I have two freshly made peony bouquets for you. We also have several new flavors of kombucha in the Farm store, and everything that you could possibly need for your memorial Day gathering. Also make sure you pick up some of Celebrity Goat Dairy's Tykk Syyr and add your own ranch dressing seasonings. We have been over the moon with how well this works for and amazing ranch/Deihl dip or spread. We also love to see someone use it in a tzatziki spread. Let us know how it turns out. We think it'll be amazing !!

We're bagging some of the most beautiful lettuce. It is the freshest lettuce that you're gonna find at any farmers market anywhere, crisp, delightful and so nutritional. Good morning !!! The farm store is OPEN and has already been busy with folks gathering their normal groceries and their speciality items for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend ! We are making Peony Bouquets real time, so get yours today !! Lauren has delivered her Sourdough and, Yes, it is still WARM!! All of our amazing cuts of Chicken and Pork are in stock, along with Roberts Farm 's Ground Beef. We would love to see you today - Open until 8:30 tonight !!

As most of you might know, Lexington has had a horrible fire destroy several businesses that are utterly near and dear to our farm, and more importantly, our families' hearts. The Candy Factory has been part of mine and my children's lives since they were born. It is, to us, one of the most special places on earth. When we are able to finish farm chores early enough on a Friday night, we would RACE to Main Street Deli. As soon as we placed our order, we would run over to The Candy Factory and everyone got to "pick out one thing". The Candy Factory is the place that we took all our out of town guests, just to show off something that was sooo special in Lexington. Who knows what the future holds for The Candy Factory, but I would just like for the current and previous owners to know that something you created brought true joy to the lives of so many, and we would be humbled for you to bring it back in some way.

Shoto holds a special place in our hearts not only because of all the volunteer work that they do/did at the Lexington Farmers Market NC - Depot District. All their taste testing, cooking demonstrations, judging over the years - but also their shopping. You can see them and their children shopping at the market almost every Saturday. That is special enough. For Crossings we are indebted to Shoto's because they gave us an opportunity to grow our farm by showcasing our Chicken (for Chicken Broth) and our Pork several years ago. I still remember walking up to the shop and asking them if they would be willing to talk to me about our farm and if they would be interested in using our product. Not only did they sit down with me on several occasions, they gave us a good price for our products and gave us the confidence to grow the farm. We have never forgotten. So, we find ourselves, after careful consideration over the last few days, at a place where we, in some small way, can help these businesses that have meant so much to us in our lives ( Shoto, The Candy Factory, Bagels & Main Street Deli). This Saturday, May 23rd, we are going to donate the proceeds of all the Ribs, Wings & Drumsticks to these restaurants while we are at the Lexington Farmers Market NC - Depot District (8am to Noon). While we are not a big business, this is something that we can do. We would be honored to be allowed to feed your family this Memorial Day weekend AND support several Downtown businesses that have given us so much joy over the years. See you there !!

Please also note that there will be several fundraisers and donations going on during this same time at the Farmers Market, so come on out !!! Feed your body and nourish your humanity !!

Our new favorite quick meal! Our Chicken Breasts strips( they come in 1 # prepackaged sliced for healthy convenience food), Rabble & Rise Dipping Oil Blend, Celebrity Goat Dairy Tykk Skyr (like yogurt) with a Ranch Mix and a bit of Hatteras Sea salt - Lime. We make the Breasts Strips so that you can easily open the pack and put the entire contents into a sauce pan with some olive oil and onions-sauté that together adding the Rabble and Rise Oil blend, and adding red peppers at the end. We use the Ranch Skyr on the tortillas. Amazing chicken fajitas. Fast and amazingly healthy. These are all things that you can find at the Lexington Farmers Market as well as our Farm Store so don't miss out!'

Weekend recap and product alert. First, we have some wonderfully freshly processed whole chickens that are currently located in the Farm Store cooler. You don't want miss out on those. This weekend was busy as all spring weekends it seemed to be and all hands on deck for sure. Great market this weekend with a special note of appreciation to Celebrity Goat dairy. Claire came all the way from Pittsboro to talk about the benefits of all things goat cheese related. We also spent a bit of time after the market sampling some of Ben's homemade Muscadine wine. We enjoyed some mozzarella that Mackenzie and I had made fresh the day before with Lutheridge Milk. We Coupled it with woodpecker Farms olive oil and their balsamic vinegar, Rabble and Rise's croutons, and Miller's strawberries. It was an unexpected treat after a long few days. The entire team worked hard all weekend with me and Emma finishing in the lettuce field and greenhouse last night.
