It's been a crazy summer but.......

WE HAVE ICE CREAM BAR EGGS!!!!!! 🍦🥚🩵

They still are tiny but BOY are they green! No filter or perfect lighting on the first picture, they are a true green! No speckles yet but only one girl has started laying so we shall see what else comes up!

Stay tuned for pictures of the proud mama and her flock mates as they continue to grow out 🩵

MOVE-IN DAY! 🫶

I am FINALLY able to bring more of my favorite birds to the farm! After what seems like months of disappointment with my current girl and failed shipped eggs, I am SO happy to have found these beauties locally at Cypress Creek Acres!

Meet the new Silverudds 💕

Of course they are boogers and don't like to have their pictures taken but that doesn't change how GORGEOUS they are already! One has already being lovingly named "Bridge" because "he loves to run under everyone like they are a bridge" - direct quote from my 6 year old 🤭

SO excited to see how they growout and how they can add some even better bloodlines to my current stock!

UPDATE: just for clarification, we have young turkeys so they actually are called jake's? Still learning things in the turkey world so I'm sorry if that offended anyone. Carry on 😜

Our Tom's are starting to figure out they are handsome and want to make sure everyone knows it. And they are learning how to free range - emphasis on learning...currently they act like toddlers after slamming 2 pixie sticks then panic that they are lost and try to get in every other coop except theirs 🤦‍♀️

On a cuter note, our newest 3 poults hatched yesterday!
