We took advantage of some really nice weather last week and have a lot of ground ready to plant now. Shop work continues this week as we wait for warmer temperatures to fire the planters up.

Took advantage of some nice weather the last week and have another farm with a drainage system in it.

We finally finished harvest last night! We had our fair share of breakdowns and had a close call with a dryer fire. Joe Kober, Jeremy Warnock, Gary Poulsen, Bob Huffman, Mike Taylor and Jon Jennings. I can’t thank you guys enough for the long hours and constant laughs when things were not going as planned. Also, thank you to Sara Kober for keeping things on track at home and making these awesome meals. I have a feeling you might be more tired than us right now. Harvest 2020 ✅! Now it’s time to start thinking about 2021!

We have had a good run at it so far. We are 85% done with Corn and 90% done with Soybeans. We have decided to park the planters until this cold weather moves through the next few days. This leaves plenty of time for getting machinery serviced and ready for the final push!

Some good comments about our upcoming cold temperatures.

The last few weeks have been busy to say the least. Started out with putting some tile in and hauling Hi Cal lime to be spread. Now it’s on to working ground and we have started planting both corn and soybeans.
