“Saturday at Ellis County Poultry Trades Day was a huge success! 🐓🦃🦚🌱

We’re beyond thankful for all of you who stopped by to support us. Together, we sold around 200 chickens, as well as turkeys, peafowl, and even a few precious plants!

One of my favorite moments was when a sweet little boy picked out a succulent in a chicken planter as a gift for his momma—you made my whole weekend, little one! 💛

Your encouragement and excitement for our locally bred, hatched, and raised poultry (and plants!) keep us going, and we’re so proud to share what we love with this amazing community.

A giant "Thanks!" to Kelly Jo and her team, You guys put in so many hours to make this all work!

We could not do it without our amazing friends and chicken tenders Mary Boyd Decker and Mr. Pitts. Yall keep us on track and many of yall got to enjoy some of Mary's adorable crafts this time! 🤩

We've been drowning in a sea of farm chores, and it's gotten to the point where we're questioning our life choices 😬. But this evening, we had a bit of an epiphany, courtesy of a gorgeous Black Copper Marans rooster - all our hard work is definitely paying off! And as for those Black Copper Marans?
