Sadly, due to a legal dispute with a former partner, we have had to close Lazy Tree Ranch permanently. We very much want to thank everyone that made this a home away from home for nearly three years. To all of our mug club members we will make arrangements to get you your mug shortly.
We have great memories and made a great many new friends. There is just no other way to resolve this but sell the property. Our best to each of you and thank you for your patronage.

Lazy Tree Ranch is CLOSED this weekend. If you're looking for a cold one we highly recommend Liberty Hill Beer Market and if you like Italian food please visit our friends at Mambo Italiano in Bertram. The best Hot Mussel's I've ever had and excellent Italian with old country flavors. Dahlia's is another great option for American fare. Say hi to Deb and John for us and have a safe and pleasant weekend.

IT'S THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY!! Lazy Tree Ranch is celebrating the July 20, 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing by having a HOWL AT THE MOON Karaoke party tonight on the WARE STAGE. You can sing whatever you want on our professional sound system but if you do sing one of the 250+ moon songs you'll be eligible for prizes. Songs like Bob Seger's "Shame on the Moon" for example, REM's "Man on the Moon" or The Police "Walking on the Moon." What? You like Country Music? What a coincidence! So do we! How about singing Stoney LaRue's "Texas Moon" (below) Anyway you cut it its a great night of fun, beer, wine, a great breeze and more. Last night it was at least 10 degrees cooler outside with the 12 mph breeze and shade trees.
LTR is a family and dog friendly event center with 250,000 square foot of lawn, 700 live oak trees, a playscape, pavilion and bar. Gate opens at 5:00. We;'re at 1889 County Rd. 206 Liberty Hill (near the Gun Club).
Burn your own burger night! We have burgers and sausages for $6 or bring your own and cook away on our commercial grill. Either way... you're cooking. owooooooooo!!!

Storm Damage!
Sundays storm brought high winds (60mph in some areas) and heavy rain. Lazy Tree lost about a dozen trees and there is some damage in the pavilion area as well. Due to the cleanup required we will not be able to open tonight but plan on being open on Saturday. Any member that wants to come help with the cleanup effort we'll start at 9:00 AM Saturday and the Tree is buying lunch. Please bring a chainsaw if you have one. Looking forward to seeing you either Saturday during the day or Saturday night.
