If you or anyone you know wants to get started with coturnix quail there’s never been a better time to contact us.

We are happy to share that we have twin boys on the way. In preparation for them we’re downsizing and not going to farmers markets or making many farm store deliveries.

What that means for you?
1- lowest prices ever on mature quail hens ever. Hens almost half off
2- a bunch of excess males ready for the freezer on clearance

5- chicks on sale… they’re in the Hatcher now ready for pickup. **note we won’t be brooding… so get them fast when we have them and before we sell them all to wholesalers. Pickup windows of 1-2 days maximum and only 1-3 day old chicks will be available for the next 4-6 months. We will not be offering any birds other than day olds and mature birds that we have in excess currently.
6- hatching eggs on sale too. Want the best genetics around with better hatching rates than shipped eggs? We have them! Our jumbos can get above a pound and are very healthy and productive.

**Also note we have a line of freeze dried dog treats available now and will offer them to customers at a better price than what our pet store distributors will be selling them for.

***UPDATE*** THEY WERE ALL PICKED UP AND TAKEN TO A LARGE PROPERTY BY A WOMAN AND HER FAMILY THAT LOVE POSSUMS. :).

I believe we've captured one (or should I say 9?) of the critters that have been tormenting our chickens and eating our chicken eggs. I'm not so sure they've been killing our chickens (something has), but either way they have to go!

1 momma possum and what looks like about 8 babies are available to anyone who will come get them in the next 18 hours AND WHO LIVES AT LEAST 15 MILES FROM OUR FARM.

They are on our front porch now with some water. Contact me ASAP if you want them, know of someone that wants them.

To sweeten the deal I'll give whoever comes to get them first $40 worth of our farm raised organic fed quail eggs!

Emergency Quail heat update!!

Today the forecast for Travis County shows the heat index at 113°F.

I would strongly recommend giving your birds, some shallow bird baths with water so they can jump in a little swimming pool and cool down

Nothing too deep is necessary, but you wanna make sure they can hop in and cool down.

You’ll know for sure it’s working when they stop panting so much

I recommend doing this when temperatures get to 95 to 100° and above

Don’t let what happen to one of my other customers recently happened to you… A cage, full of dead quail cooked in the sun 😢. That day was not as hot at today’s forecasted, however, the shade that they had set up for the birds at somehow fallen down and they were interact Sunlight when it was over 90°. They had no way to get in the shade and that killed every bird in the cage that they only had for about a week.

Doesn’t have to be difficult or time-consuming to do these kind of things.

Right now we have all of our birds on sale because my wife is expecting twin baby boys so we’re gonna downsize the number of Quail that we have to make that much easier to manage as we still have a nine month old little girl.

11 button quail are hatched and will be ready for pickup starting tomorrow! 4 are already spoken for in advance and will be picked up Wednesday, so if you or anyone want some have them send me a message!

We have Button Quail also known as Chinese Painted Quail, King Quail, or Asian Blue Quail!

Hatching now some pre sold and others will be available.

They’re adorable, super tiny, quiet but make some nice calls, eat very little and are very easy to care for.

$7 each while they last!

You’ll need a brooder for them, but it can be super small as they’re hatching from eggs about the size of a peanut M&M. 😁
