Another day on set with CraveTV , and this episode was all about the incredible impact local businesses are making in our community! ❤️

Thanks to BECU credit union , we got a behind-the-scenes look at three very different businesses that are each making Spokane a better place to live, work, and play!

📍 Feast World Kitchen — So much more than a place to enjoy delicious food! FEAST helps refugees build a new life in our community by providing opportunities to learn English, develop culinary skills, earn an income, and support their families. Such a beautiful mission and reminder of how food can bring people together!

📍 The Scale House Market — A year-round indoor farmers market bringing together local growers, makers, and some incredible products from right here in our region! They also have a commercial kitchen supporting local food entrepreneurs and offer cooking classes for both adults and kids. I LOVE seeing spaces like this that help small businesses grow and our community connect!

📍 Northern Quest — We ended the day going behind the scenes of their impressive food and beverage operations and learning more about their live concert series, which just keeps getting bigger and better every year! 🎤🎶 And yes, peep me and Adam getting our moment on stage! 😂

Three completely different stops, but one common thread: the people and businesses investing in our community and making a difference.

A big thank you to BECU credit union for helping us shine a spotlight on the businesses and people making an impact right here in Spokane! ❤️

Another day on the road with CraveTV , and today we got to experience some of the incredible people, places, and flavors that make the Yakima Valley so special! 🍎🍏

Our day started at Apple King, where we toured the orchards, learned the ins and outs of apple growing, and had the privilege of meeting the 3rd, 4th, AND 5th generations of growers behind the operation!

Days like today give me an even greater appreciation for our Washington farmers. The grit, the hard work, the generations of knowledge, and the genuine love and care they pour into what they do. We are so fortunate to have these hardworking families growing the food that ends up on our tables. ❤️

Next up, Cowiche Creek Brewing Company , where I had what might genuinely be one of the BEST burgers of my life! 🍔

Their Local Burger is a celebration of the Yakima Valley, featuring locally raised prime beef from Austin Allred , Cougar Gold cheddar, Cosmic Crisp apples grown just down the road, grilled onions, and house-made aioli. The perfect combination of local flavors!

And don’t even get me started on their apple crisp topped with SMOKED ice cream. Imagine the flavor of a perfectly roasted marshmallow. SO GOOD.

Everything is made from scratch, and so many of their ingredients are even grown right there on the property. They’re doing something really special here, and I can’t recommend this stop enough!

We wrapped up our day at L&M Packing, where we got a behind-the-scenes look at the technology helping shape the future of Washington’s apple industry. They’re pioneering the use of AI in apple packing to improve quality, increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ultimately help growers get more value from the apples they work so hard to produce. Pretty incredible to see innovation and agriculture working hand in hand!

My biggest takeaway from today? Behind every apple, every meal, and every local business are PEOPLE who care deeply about what they do.

And getting to share their stories is one of my favorite parts of filming Crave TV. ❤️
