We hear some farmers complaining about the support they receive (or don't) from their agricultural extension agents. Happy to report that we can't relate😁

What if everything you think you know about peppermint tea is based on a tea bag? In this video, I put Green Heffa Farms loose leaf peppermint leaves head-to-head with a popular bagged peppermint tea. Notice the difference. The aroma is brighter. The leaves are greener. The brewed tea has a more vibrant color because you’re seeing herbs that were harvested, dried, and handled with care. We specialize in loose leaf tea and herbs because we prioritize quality. We want to offer our BesTeas the most happiest plants possible. The care is evident the minute you open our packaging. There’s another reason we choose loose leaf. Some tea bags have been found to release microplastics or are made with materials consumers may prefer to avoid. Loose leaf lets you enjoy the herbs themselves while reducing unnecessary packaging.

Good tea begins long before it gets to your cup. It starts with healthy soil, careful growing practices, and respect for the plant.

Taste. Smell. See the difference. If you are ready for better, come on thru 💜 Join our email list for exclusive offers and behind the scenes content we don’t show anywhere else. And tell us below- which peppermint tea would you prefer?

Mind you, we don’t even buy fertilizer at Green Heffa Farms but when I am asked to speak on these national platforms, I do my best to advocate for all small farms.

The Trump administration is proposing another $11B in farmer bailout money. This is in addition to the $12B already doled out to mostly large corporate farms. I encourage small farmers, especially Black- owned, to go after every single cent you can in government support. Make sure your paperwork is in order. If you need help in ensuring your farm is ready, I detail how to be positioned for government support in my new book Black Girl’s Guide to Building a Boutique Farm. I also break down how to position your farm for media opportunities as well.

Thank you MS NOW for including my voice on this topic.

We were wondering if we were going to pull this off. At the time, we thought it wasn’t enough tickets sold. We had to dip deeper in our pockets than expected since we didn’t have sponsorship support. And who tries to pull off a tea party and a conference during the busiest part of the farming season? And we are in the midst of a serious drought. But to know us is to know that we have such a beautiful community and they came thru. And we were able to pull off a wonderful event that we are proud to say offered something different that the many conferences and gatherings that exist. This year’s W.A.S.H literally poured into everyone who was there. And the people who were meant to be there, were. Thank you to all who helped make this possible. We are proof that a farming business has the power to create change and impact. And don’t ever forget…

WE ARE STILL HERE.

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone joining us this Saturday for the 2026 W.A.S.H. Conference. This year’s gathering is focused on niche markets for small-scale farms.

The right people are coming at the right time, and we are excited to gather for a day of learning, enrichment, connection, and community building.

We have a full day planned and cannot wait to share this experience with you. Safe travels, and we will see you soon!
