Little paws. Big futures. 🐾
At Texas Freedom Labradors, the care we put into our puppies begins long before they leave for their new homes. Part of that early care includes ENS and ESI.
🖤 Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) involves brief, gentle exercises during days 3–16 of life, introducing carefully controlled changes in position, touch, and temperature. The goal is to support early development and the ability to cope with new experiences.
👃 Early Scent Introduction (ESI) introduces puppies to individual scents in short sessions, giving them an early opportunity to explore the world through their noses. For a breed known for retrieving and scent work, watching those little noses respond is especially rewarding!
These experiences are one part of our approach, alongside daily affection, attentive care, and age-appropriate socialization as our puppies grow. Genetics and continued training matter, too.
Whether their future holds mornings in the field or evenings curled up beside their family, we take their beginnings to heart. ❤️
