Last week was a fun week of learning about our animals, their care, how to treat other’s like Jesus treats us, pony and horse rides, and fun challenges like shedding our “skin”, using our senses to sniff out prey, eating and grabbing things with just our, “tongues”, and moving like a turtle moves.

The difference between duck and chicken eggs! The size of that yolk!
Duck eggs carry around 12 grams of protien, while chicken eggs have 6-8grams.
They are much more rich. My daughter describes the taste as more buttery.
And they make the best and fluffiest baked goods!
Our duckies are really picking up production. Not enough for a full dozen but once a week. But if you would like to try a duck egg or two with you next dozen eggs, just let me know!

We have two Great Dane/German Shepherd mixes ready for their new home October 6th!

They have been raised indoors with my four kids. They have been dewormed every two weeks, and will come with their 8 week puppy shots as well.

Both are females.
