We rotationally graze all of our animals. They haven’t seen this area in about 8 weeks as they’ve rotated around all of the other pastures. Just a few years ago these areas were all full of weeds and brambles. Now it’s a lush salad bar! We’ve added nothing to the soil…it was all lying there dormant until the pigs did their thing!

Pigs, when rotated, restore and regenerate the land…they are co-laborers with us!

They live an amazing life doing what God created pigs to do and then they provide us with the most flavorful, nutritious pork imaginable! Win-win!

When we don’t get our processing day started until mid-afternoon, because…life…the day goes a tad long…and we all have our ways of coping with said long days 🤪😂!

Come see us on the farm tomorrow from 10-2! Even if you didn’t pre-order fresh chicken, we’ll have some available along with frozen chicken and pork! We even have some new cuts! Instead of just leg quarters, we now have thighs and drumsticks packaged separately! We’ll also have local eggs, Causey Farm ground beef, hot dogs and beef patties, some baked goodies and cool drinks!

Hey all! Since so many are coming to pick up fresh chicken orders on the farm tomorrow, we just decided to have a pop-up sale! We’ll have our market tent out front and all the chicken and pork you could want! We’ll also have Causey Farm ground beef, hot dogs and patties, along with eggs and some veggies from Kids Eggsellent eggs! Come on out to the farm, stock up on all the goodies and visit our friendly Thanksgiving turkey flock while you’re here!

It’s also not too late to reserve some fresh chicken! The Google doc order form is in the comments.

Back by popular demand!! Fresh Chicken from the Farm THIS Saturday!! The last time we did this was in May and y'all responded so well that we wanted to do it again!

We normally sell our chicken frozen, but this weekend, you’ll once again have the opportunity to get some FRESH! See the comment to this post for instructions on how to order by google doc! You can also comment here or text 336-906-8871. Pick up times are 10am-3pm THIS Saturday on the farm! 10% off or buy 4 get 1 free (fresh or frozen or a mixture of both!)

We'll have whole chickens, boneless, skinless breasts and tenders, leg quarters, wings and backs (for broth making) available fresh and frozen...whichever you prefer!

We process our pasture-raised chickens right here on the farm. They are raised on grass and fed non-gmo, organic local feed. No hormones, no antibiotics…ever!

It doesn’t get any fresher than this!
