It seems crazy early to be thinking about it now, but turkey season starts at Green Eggs and Sam farm in June! We grow a limited number of turkeys each season, and you can reserve yours today with a $40 deposit. (Cash, check, venmo or zelle).
That deposit not only reserves your bird, but it helps offset the front end expenses related to getting the turkeys and giving them a good start. It's a win-win! It will also make it feel almost like a discount in November when you pick up your turkey because you already paid part of the price up front! Bonus!
If you've never tasted a pasture-raised turkey, do yourself a favor and get ya one this year! You won't regret it. I didn't realize how good turkey could actually taste until we started growing them on the farm and I sure wouldn't go back! These turkeys spend a few weeks in the cozy brooder and then they're moved outside on pasture for the rest of their days. They are fed organic, non-gmo feed and are never given any hormones or antibiotics! They're even processed right here on the farm by our family. It's a good, healthy, stress-free life! You can feel good about supporting a local farm, you can feel good about how your turkey is treated AND you can enjoy the best tasting turkey you've ever had!
When you submit a deposit to reserve your turkey, you can also let us know what size-range you'd like your bird and we'll do our best to accommodate! The ranges are 12-15lbs., 16-18lbs., 19-21lbs., 22-24lbs., and 25+lbs.
