A little appreciation post for the young man behind Sweet Treats. 💙
I don’t talk about him enough on this page, but today I need to.
Watching my son step up while I’ve been dealing with lupus has made me realize just how incredibly well-raised this young man is. When I’m hurting and struggling to get through the day, he doesn’t hesitate to help. He helps with his younger siblings, helps around the house, checks on me, and does whatever he can to make things a little easier for his momma.
And then, knowing that my medications are too expensive right now, this sweet boy actually offered to help pay for them. 🥺this young man has a heart of gold 💛
Of course, I would never allow my child to carry that kind of financial responsibility for me, but the fact that he even thought to offer says everything about his heart. His piggy bank is for his dreams one day he’s truly a sweet kid!
Being sick has shown me a lot of things, but one of the greatest blessings has been seeing the kind, compassionate, selfless young man my son has become.
I may not always be able to give my kids everything, but I hope they always know that I will forever be proud of the people they are becoming.
Bub, you have no idea how much your help means to your momma. You’re growing into such an amazing young man, and I hope you always know how proud I am to call you my son. 💙
When you buy from these kiddos just know they have the biggest hearts and would do anything for anybody!
Sweet Treats may be a business built by kids with a dream, but it’s also built on family, love, and kids who have hearts bigger than they realize. 🥹💙
