Just wanted to let everyone know that I still have a good quantity of garlic left on my website.

Some people have said that it looks like things are sold out, but you need to input the bulb size you want, whether it be culinary or seed, and then the size, 1/2 lb or whole, and it will show you how much is in stock.

When the page 1st loads for each variety, it doesn’t show anything until you’ve made your selection.

Hope that clears things up for people who are saying that everything is out of stock.

ALL my garlic is now out of the ground, hanging and curing.

I will soon start cleaning, sizing & sorting them.

So, for those of you who wanted an update on the three varieties of garlic that I left in the ground for an extra week to see if rainfall and time would make them bigger, the answer is no, it didn’t. We had one day of rain and then six days of dry weather. Made them easier to dig, but that’s about it.

It did not make them any bigger, at least not enough for me to even visually see. But it did lose at least 1 to 3 layers of leaves/skin. Which made them much harder to clean because I didn’t have the availability of a lower leaf to pull off of them.

So my advice: don’t do it. If your garlic looks ready to come out, it’s got 4 to 5 green leaves left and the size is good enough for you, dig it! 

I’m going to be offering a new variety this year, but it’s a surprise. Here’s some tempting pictures though.
