We will offer blackberry picking for a final day this coming Thursday, July 30th from 10 am to 12 pm. Appointments are recommended but not required on this date. Berry picking will be first come first serve.

As we get closer to apple picking season we plan to open with regular weekend hours August 15th or 22nd, as the time gets closer an exact opening date will be provided. Our picking season will span 2-3 weekends this year due to the small apple crop. Once the initial variety has been picked we will reopen in early September for picking.

We are open this week for you pick blackberries by appointment. We are open on Tuesday, July 7th from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Thursday July 9th from 10 am to 12 pm and Sunday July 12th from 10 am to 12 pm.

We will be open by appointment for black berry picking this Saturday June 27th from 10:30 to 2 pm. If you would like to come out and pick please call us or book through Facebook.

Blackberry picking will last about 3 weeks and will be available only when there are berries ripe for picking with weekly updates on picking dates and times.

Our peach crop this year is very limited and with the consistent rain we have had difficulty controlling brown rot on the fruit. Secondary to this we will be unable to offer peach 🍑 picking this year.

Blackberries will be offered for the next few weeks and then we plan on opening in late August and early September with regular hours for apple picking but will have limited offerings this year and plan to be open 2-3 weeks at that time.

It’s been a while since the last update so this is a big one. The growing season is in full swing and I attached a video of our insect monitoring and control for oriental fruit moth. This is one of the biggest pests in the orchard alongside plum curculio and apple maggot.

Crop thinning is nearly finished for the year with a couple varieties remaining. Sadly the cold snap we had in March did a number on this years crop of apples and peaches.

We will have a small crop of peaches in July so stay tuned and we will post when they are ready to pick.

The apple crop is also very small with Jonafree and Rome apples the only varieties producing much this year. I anticipate we will be open for a short time in mid to late August and early September for these varieties.

We will have a crop of blackberries for appointment picking in June and July.

I will continue to post updates during the growing season with an upcoming video discussing growing degree days and how this correlates with pest management.

On a final note we are renting the orchard building for events throughout the year so if you are looking for a special place for your party please feel to reach out!!
