We are selling a few cows to make room for the extra heifers I didnt intend to keep. My 2 or 3 turned into 9 or 10. We will also have some weanling heifers available in the next month or so. As always, id rather sell off the farm. I feel like it keeps the girls from extra stress, cuts out dealing with a middle man, and eliminates exposure of what could be passed through the barn that can affect their health. They will be herefords or brahman influenced and vary in age. Most will just be going because I've kept daughters as replacements. We have a lot of wash outs and springs under our fields that always made it near impossible to spray them. Not a problem anymore.

We have an aged cow we would like to find a home for. She has a 4ish month black hereford bull calf at side and has been exposed back to either a black or red hereford. Calves can be registered with their organizations. Cow was shown as a heifer but hasn't been haltered since. She gets pushed around badly by my younger jerks so she is not getting in and eating as I feel she should. Shes a little slow but there's no reason she shouldn't last a few more years. Would be a great opportunity for a youth to get started.
