Bella did great on a round of patience training!

I approached it a little differently this time. Usually I would tie them up and walk away. This time I made sure to reward the behavior I was looking for as soon as I saw it!

This was her first round training this way. She will get another round next week in the same manner. And I believe she will hit the calm button ALOT sooner if she knows she is rewarded for it.

You’ll see here her first round was a lot more dramatic than her 4th. It took her a good 7-9 minutes to calm down for round 1. Round 3 was around a minute. And round 4 was less.

THAT is progress. 👏🏻

Also, she got exposed to more sounds. ♥️

16 months old.

From Daisy (processed for teat issues) & Boaris.

I am excited to see how our other litters square up in size with new sows and the same Boar.
