It’s a fake choice: Bourbon vs. Rye. 🚫
Fake.
Nobody REALLY only picks sweet or savory. Everyone likes both, albeit maybe at different times or in different situations.
So what situation is best suited for K**b Creek’s Bourbon x Rye?
Easy.
This one is for the person that’s rye-curious but generally isn’t interested in wh***ey that’s spicy enough to make your tongue needs a safe word.
It’s mostly rye (70%), so the spice definitely shows up, but the other 30% is nine-year bourbon, and it brings just enough sweetness to convince your taste buds that everything happening is consensual.
Caramel, vanilla, and pepper (black, not scorpion).
Let’s be grown-ups. Most of life isn’t an either/or; you are allowed to like two things at once.
And you’re allowed to like them together.
So get in the right headspace for this one: Think of a st****er bringing homemade brownies to a church bake sale. Yeah – it’s confusing. Probably inappropriate. But don’t be shocked when those brownies outsell Sister Margaret’s lemon bars.
Just let it be what it is. 🤷♂️
