We’ve restocked our display at the Cornhusker Council Scout Shop, including 2 oz foaming soaps, currently only available here outside of our travel kits! Perfect size for camping!

While you visit, you can learn more about Cornhusker Council, Scouting America! If you have school-age children, this is the best program for them!

While we wait for some of our applications to be accepted for fall markets, we can announce that we will be part of the Highlands Neighborhood Association - Lincoln, NE Fall Garage Sales on September 19th! In addition to our lavender products, we will have typical garage sale items (lots of baby and toddler stuff) and of course you can take or leave a book at Little Leuenberger Library!

One common question we get at markets is what is our favorite product? Jake likes to joke that it’s the perfect setup to push some of our more expensive stuff, but in reality it’s our cheapest product: our lip balm! He developed it with one goal in mind: to not have it melt in his pocket when on the mower on a 100°F day at Camp Cornhusker. Mission success!

This weekend we poured our tenth batch, meaning that we’ve made 550 lip balms total! That’s a lot of lip balm for a small business! (We’ve probably only sold about 400 because Jake goes through lip balm like candy.) Fun fact: the reason why we know this exact amount is that our lip balm tubes come in packs of 50 but our pouring rack uses 55; this time the number of tubes we had on hand came out perfectly even!

We ended our season STRONG with our best farmers market sales EVER! Thank you East Campus Discovery Days and Farmers Market for putting on a great season of events and we can’t wait to be back next year!

We shift into fall weekend markets already next week with Milford Chamber of Commerce’s Fun Days next Saturday! Watch this space for announcements of upcoming fall markets!
