Almost time for Barmbrack!

Barmbrack (often misspelled as brambark or brambrack) is a traditional Irish sweet yeast bread packed with raisins and sultanas. Its name comes from the Irish Gaelic phrase báirín breac, which translates literally to "speckled loaf".

While it is eaten year-round as a tea-time snack with butter, it is famously the centerpiece of Irish Halloween and Samhain traditions

Just a few happy healing plants. Can you name them all?

When it comes to tea, not all plant parts are created equal! 🫖✨

🌱 Leaf & Flower Teas (like Green, Chamomile, or Mint) are delicate. They only need 3 to 5 minutes in hot water to release their soft aromatics without turning bitter.

🪵 Root & Bark Teas (like Ginger, Cinnamon, or Licorice) are tough and dense. They need a true decoction—simmering for 10 to 20+ minutes—to unlock their full flavor and beneficial compounds.

Quick rule of thumb: Leaves steep, roots simmer! ☕👇
