Does anyone have any interest in taking over foodie flash mob? 🙏
Up until two weeks ago, nobody ever said a discouraging word about me for doing these. Two Sundays ago, that changed and a lady named Ashley Porter has been slamming me by name in other local groups. Basically trying to make a fool of me for doing these. You’ve probably seen them if ypu follow the other community Facebook groups. So I don’t mind referring to her by name to return the favor she did for me. Ashley Porter.
When I started to do foodie flash mob a few years ago, I told myself that I’d keep doing it until people started acting like jerks. Honestly, I’m kinda thrilled about the fact that it took almost 3 years for somebody to ruin it for me. I just want to live my life with positivity and that lady and her friends are far from positive.
Yes, I own a local business, but I’ve been doing this out of my own pocket, on my personal time. This lady decides to start tying my business into it. I wont do that for a hobby. I’m making it sound horrible, but it’s actually a lot of fun. I’ve already banned and blocked her so you don’t have to worry about her.
I really hope someone is interested in taking it over. 🙏 the posts on this page are only used for people to share the post with their friends, so even though these posts have a tiny bit of likes, the people seeing them aren’t necessarily following this page like you are. They feed into a much much larger group. I am admin for the larger group too, and i made it easy to do.
I’ve put countless hours into it and don’t want it to be wasted. I’ve spent money on Facebook ads too. People were so nice, especially the restaurants. You’re going to love doing it if you want to try it. It’s addictive though. I think it is very worthwhile. The way I saw it from day one was that if even one person was inspired to go in to the restaurant, it was worth it.
Turns out, people love to play and lots of your neighbors, not just restaurants will recognize you for doing it. This one lady took the fun out of it for me personally and that’s why I did it. It’s still super fun and rewarding in its own way. People actually go and it feels great supporting your community. If you know anybody who might want to, please tell them there’s an opportunity to take over foodie flash mob for free, no catch. 😊
