Spirited Republic is a craft beer bar and wine shop located on the south side of the square in Lincoln, IL. We offer 40 craft beers on draft as well as 4 red wines and 4 white wines on tap. We also carry over 100 varieties of bottled wine and beer.

But more than anything, we're incredibly grateful for the best weekend EVER!

What a fantastic Balloons Over 66 weekend! Seeing downtown Lincoln filled with people, watching our community come alive, and welcoming so many familiar faces AND new ones through our doors made every crazy, busy, exhausting minute worth it.

To everyone who stopped in, grabbed a drink, brought friends, waited patiently when we were slammed, said a kind word, or simply chose to spend part of your weekend with us—THANK YOU.

And an especially big thank you to the committees and volunteers who give so much of their time to make this weekend happen. Events like this don't just magically come together. There are countless hours of planning, organizing, problem-solving, setting up, tearing down, and everything in between. We see you, we appreciate you, and we're incredibly thankful for what you do for our community.

And to our Spirited crew who worked their tails off all weekend—we couldn't do any of this without you. 💛

This weekend was a pretty great reminder of just how special our little community is.

We're exhausted, our feet hurt, and we're running on fumes...

But our hearts are very, very full.

Balloons Over 66 Weekend is HERE!

And you know we couldn't have a big weekend in Lincoln without bringing out the crowd favorite Blackberry Sangria Slushies!

But this year, we're stepping up our slushie game...

TWO MACHINES. TWO LOCATIONS. MORE SLUSHIES.

You'll find one machine at the front of the bar and another at the back of the bar—because nobody should have to travel too far for a Blackberry Sangria Slushie. 😂

So while you're out enjoying the balloons, BBQ, and everything happening around Lincoln this weekend, make Spirited one of your stops.

You know how much we love our dogs around here. They're family—and Winnie Claire Finnegan was absolutely part of ours. 💚

Our hearts are heavy for Jan and Cindy as they said goodbye to their sweet girl.

Winnie spent many days and nights here at Spirited, becoming one of those familiar faces you just expected to see—and one we were always happy to see.

Fitz will miss his "girlfriend" Winnie too... although we're pretty sure that relationship existed mostly in Fitz's mind. Winnie wasn't exactly a fan. 😂

There will be an empty spot where Winnie used to be, but there are so many wonderful memories of her that will always be part of this place.

Jan and Cindy, thank you for sharing your girl with all of us. We loved Winnie like she was one of our own, because around here, she was.

Rest easy, sweet Winnie Claire. You were one very loved girl. 🐾
