The weekend was busy around here. Jayde Trump Pole Bending Clinic Saturday, Mindi Clarke Barrel Racing Clinic Sunday, and getting these signs made!

My Dad passed in 2021. When Mom was moving to Johnson in 2023, I salvaged these barn boards that my Dad, Dennis Norvell had long ago stacked in the loft of his old barn after tearing down a barn on another property and carefully removing all of the nails. I am not sure what he was planning for them, but I made sure they served a purpose!

I feel blessed to have another piece of him incorporated into our arena. He believed in what we do for the kids and adults who want to learn about horses and rodeo and these signs will help complete one of my visions for Bar Star.

It was a great day hosting Jayde Trump for her Smooth is Fast Pole Bending Clinic. She came with some new things in her coaching this year and as always, I feel everyone came away with a lot of improvement!
