The reason behind everything we do is our parents.
Ana’s parents came to the U.S. in the late 80s, leaving their three children behind in India with the grandma. Imagine moving to a brand-new country with barely any money, not knowing the language or the culture—just chasing the hope of a better life. Growing up Ana remembers them working two to three jobs at a time just to make ends meet while raising a big family.
Dev’s parents spent most of their lives in India until they came to the States (early 2010s). His dad was a farmer, and his mom stayed home raising the family. There were times when fertilizer was too expensive and weather conditions were poor, making it difficult to grow crops and make ends meet. They worked incredibly hard just to make sure Dev had the chance to go to college—and sure enough, he went to pharmacy school.
We’re forever grateful for their bravery and everything they sacrificed so we can live the best life we have today. That’s why we work as hard as we do.
