We have some 1/4 or 1/2s that have come available tomorrow. Message us for details if you’d be interested in taking one this week. Average price is usually around $900-$1000 per quarter depending on size of calf.

He’d tell us to stop. He doesn’t want the recognition. He doesn’t want the spotlight. But he’s the reason we do what we do.

He raised us on the farm and in that sale barn. And oh the lessons we learned. We were standing on the side of the tag in chute from the time we could stand and hold on. To chasing baby calves and goats up the alley from the time we could handle it at 5 years old. Then working the alleys as teenagers. To Loading trucks out over night through college after classes. And now, both have found a way back there to keep helping the barn and him do what he loves, cattle.

He taught us how to do it, and supports us in everything we do. This farming thing may not be the most profitable all the time, but it’s in the blood and we carry on because of the man he is!

Calving seasons has kicked off fast with our first batch of AI calves hitting the ground, and of course we witnessed some of the coldest days!

Sometimes it’s not all smooth sailing. This big guy gets to take a ride to the barn to spend the night. We found him wandering the pasture this afternoon. Fully cleaned off, had nursed. But No mamas are claiming him. We left him and come back tonight, and he’s still a stray. We’re pretty sure we know who is mama is though (there’s always signs 😜). He will go in the barn for the night, we’ll get the suspected mama up in the morning and check her, and then start recreating their bond.
